The Divinator Speaks in PERSON!
October 07, 2006
"Time you enjoyed wasting is not wasted time."
T.S. Elliot
I've only posted an announcement to one website so far about this blog. Aeclectic Tarot. I don't have a stat counter yet but there has been a direct indication that there is traffic coming through. I received an email today from Dave Levitt - The Divinator Himself, who tells me there has been a lot of traffic to his site from my link. He wrote to thank me and added this:
"Apparently many in your community have been interacting with my "mythical timewaster". I'll forgive you for that description, but I do want to point out that, unlike all those magic 8 balls and other quickly thrown together sites, The Divinator has over a decade of oracular reading and linguistic word cue research behind it in order to make it fully conversationally interactive, or as close to that lofty goal as any existing program.
I have never found an oracle or sacred text that is brimming with both sage wisdom and eclectic humor. I hope I have achieved that to some extent. Otherwise, I have wasted my time."
Hats off to that. Perhaps my wry commentary left out my appreciation of the sage and eclectic wise humour I have indeed received from the site, which is, in my mind, and excellent way to waste time. I mean spend time.
So what's the public opinion here?
Mystical Timewaster OR Interactive Spiritually Viable Practice?
